About these terms
These terms cover your use of this website and the free ContractSprig edition. By using them you agree to these terms.
The edition and its limits
The edition is a dated snapshot of selected public contract notices, not an official or complete government census. Reported dates and values can change. Check each record and its amendment history on AusTender before acting.
A reported end date does not mean a contract will be re-tendered, that a budget is available or that you will win work. ContractSprig provides general information, not financial, tax or legal advice.
Source licence and reuse
The Commonwealth of Australia licenses the government source material directly to every recipient under Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Australia (CC BY 3.0 AU) (legal code). ContractSprig does not sublicense or claim authorship of it. You may copy, adapt, redistribute and commercially reuse it as that licence permits, keeping attribution, source notices, licence links and change notices. These terms add no restriction to that licence.
Our own methodology notes are offered under CC BY 3.0 AU with attribution “Compilation, filtering and verification by ContractSprig.” This attribution does not imply endorsement by the Commonwealth or any agency.
Attribution and changes
AusTender materials are released by the Department of Finance.
AusTender materials are subject to change and should be verified on the AusTender website to ensure the information is up to date and correct: www.tenders.gov.au.
Source: AusTender OCDS contract-notice data (AusTender Terms of Use). Changes: filtered to ICT and related advisory UNSPSC codes, reported values of A$500,000 or more (AUD) and end dates 3 to 6 months ahead, supplier-form exclusions, contact/address/free-text/document fields omitted, Canberra timestamps added from source UTC, amendment counts added. Supplier names and identifiers are masked in the free sample edition.
Paid editions
Paid editions are planned but not currently offered, and their pricing and inclusions are not set. If we offer them, we will publish their terms and update our privacy notice first.
Consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law. No blanket exclusion of liability overrides those protections.
